Happiness is what we do. We want you to love your purchases and be super satisfied - smiles from the time you open the box to the time the toys are outgrown and are put away for the next generation. So, we offer an easy return policy for all the times that the toys might not be perfect, because if it can’t be perfect it might as well be easy.
Easy means: 60 days to make a return for any reason & a $5 flat return shipping fee or free in-store returns (unless it’s our fault of course - think damaged, defective, or wrong. Then returns and exchanges are completely free).

How to Return An Item By Mail
1. Let us know
We will review your request. When we update your request you will receive one email stating the update and one email with a return label and shipping instructions. Please follow the instructions and make sure to include your packing list in your return.
If you DON’T have an account
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org stating your order number (found on your packing slip and confirmation email), what items you would like to return, reason for the return, what you would like us to do with the return (ie. exchange, store credit, refund, etc.), and any other pertinent information.
We will review your request and let you know how to proceed. We will then email with a return label and shipping instructions. Please follow the instructions and make sure to include your packing list in your return.
2. Ship it back
Securely pack up your item(s). If you have the original packaging please try to use it. Print out the emailed shipping label and attach it to the package. All returns are made through USPS, so you can drop the package off at the post office, give it to a mail carrier, or schedule a pick up through the usps website.

How to Return An Item In-Store
Simply bring your items with your packing slip back to our storefront at 13 E. College Ave. Westerville, OH 43081 during regular business hours. Be prepared to let us know if anything is wrong with the item(s) and what we can do to make it right. In-store returns are always free.
If a refund has been requested, refunds will be made back in the original form of payment used to make the purchase as soon as the returned item(s) are received. Please note that we are unable to refund the original cost of shipping. Allow 3-10 business days for the refund to appear back in your account after receipt of the item(s). If a return is made through the mail a $5 flat return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund at this time.
There are two types of exchanges - 1. those due to damages, defects, or an incorrect item shipped and 2. those due to a desire to have something different. If you would like to exchange an item due to damages, defects, or an incorrect product being shipped then Naturally Curious Kids will cover all shipping cost associated with getting you the new item. These mistakes are on us. Please follow all the instructions as stated in the appropriate returns section and we will make it right.
If, however, you would like a different item for whatever reason then you can follow the procedure in the appropriate returns section and we will give you a refund of the item (minus $5 for the return shipping label) in store credit. This money will be applied directly to your account and will be available to use on a future purchase. You can then use this credit to purchase the desired new item just as you would normally on the website. We will email you an update when the store credit becomes available for you to make the exchange.
Modifying a Current Order
We are able to modify current orders only if the items have not already shipped. If you need to modify an order please call us at (614) 568-8590 as soon as possible. If an order has shipped it will become a standard return and all policies and procedures relating to returns will be in effect.
“Free Shipping & Returns” Promotions
If you bought an item during a “free shipping & returns” promotion and you now need to return/exchange the item please let us know in the notes section or email when you do your return request. We will not deduct the $5 return shipping fee from your refund. Follow all other return procedures as normal.
Special Return Instructions for Oversized Items
Some oversized items, including large playhouses, riding toys or easels may ship directly from the manufacturer. Please save your packing slip. If you need to return or exchange an oversized item, refer to the packing slip for the correct shipping address.
